Beginner Instructions

The video shows 2 files being downloaded. There is now only one file to download.

There are several images in the instructions below. Do you try to click any buttons or type anything on the images. It will not work. They are just images, not the actual thing. See the video on using step by step instructions. The only images that work in the instructions are to 2 download buttons.

1. Download, install, and run the program.
2. Purchase the program.
3. Install the Unlock Key

1) Download the <Wellness Profile 7.1.msi> file by clicking the Download button below.

Do not Run the file but Save it and note the location you Save it to. Some computer configurations do not give you the option of where to save it. The computer decides for you. It is beyond the scope of these instructions to determine where that is. This is something you will have to do on your own.

The instructions below refer to downloading <setup.exe>. However you will be downloading <Wellness Profile 7.1.msi>.
The process it the same, only the file name has been changed.

After clicking on the download button you should see an image such as the above. DO NOT try to Run this file. Save it.

Clicking the Save button should bring up a window like the one below.

As you can see in the image above the Save As dialog box has selected "My Documents" as the location in which the file will be saved. I'm going to change that to "Original Downloads" by clicking on "Original Downloads" in the list of folders, then clicking the Save button.

Now I'm in the "Original Downloads folder. I have several Wellness Profile folders here for different version. The Wellness Profile folders all start with "WLP". However this set of instructions is downloading version 7.1.2.0 so I will create a new folder.

A new folder is created by clicking the new folder icon where the cursor arrow is in the image above.

Once I have clicked on the new folder icon a new folder appears with the folder name highlighted. This means that if I start typeing while the name is highlighted, the name will be replaced with what I type.

Now I have typed "WLP 7.1.2.0" and clicked the Save button to open the folder I just created. If I click the Save button again the computer will save the "setup.exe" file to the "WLP 7.1.2.0" folder.

This download may take quite a while since the file is quite large.
Click the Open Folder button.

Now you should see a window with the ...msi downloaded file in it.

The downloading is complete. Now the installation must be done.

3. Double click the <Wellness Profile 7.1.msi> file (You will not see the brackets <> around the file name. That is just a way of showing text that represents a file name.)

You may encounter a message such as the one below.

This is because Microsoft or your Firewall or anyone else outside of Shaklee knows who I am.
If you trust me, click the Run button.

Next you may get some windows popping up that don't require any action on your part.
You may also get some that do require your action because of firewalls. These you will have to deal with on your own because I have no idea what your firewall might ask, or what any other security system may ask.

In a while you should get the installation window shown below.

Click the Next button.

New window will pop up. Keep clicking the new Next buttons that appear until the operation is complete.

Finally click the Close button.

The installation is complete. Now let's run the program.

3) Run the program.

On your desktop there should be an icon that looks something like this:

There should be a similar icon under your Start button and All Programs.

Double click on the icon.

An intial screen should display while the program loads. The the Tip of the Day should appear. Click the OK button on the Tip of the Day.

The you should see something like the following.

Don't panic. This is what you are supposed to get.

The image should includes both the Version Verification message with the OK and Help buttons as well as the Wellness Profile - Company Information window in the background, then you program has been installed successfully.

Theonly thing you can do at this point is click the OK button (in your program, not in the image above), in which case the Wellness Profile program will close and disappear. Or you could click the Help button in which case you would be taken to a web page with more information.

This completes running the program (for the time being). Now it is time to purchase the Unlock Key.

5) Once the Unlock Key has arrived in your email.

You should get the Unlock Key within 48 hours, sometimes within 1 hour.  (It is not automatic.  It must be created manually and sent by email after receiving confirmation of payment. That is the reason for the delay.)

The unlock Key is a file called <CoSetB.dat> that will be attached to an email.

• DO NOT try to Open or Run the Unlock Key file.
• It can only be accessed by the Wellness Profile program.

Since there are numerous email systems in existance and they all seem to operate differently, it is not feasible to show screen shots of the process of placing the Unlock Key directly into the folder containing your Wellness Profile program. It is up to you to download (or Save) it to your computer.

The rest of these instruction assume you have downloaded the Unlock Key and know where it is located.

Open Windows Explorer or My Computer.

Below is an image of My Computer. I'm using My Computer because it is more difficult, and more steps are required. It is, however, more commonly used because many people don't know about Windows Explorer.

To make things more usable click on the View menu > Explorer Bar > Folders.

This changes My Computer to a view with a folder structure on the left and folder contents on the right.

On the left side navigate to the folder containing the Unlock Key <CoSetB.dat>.
In this case you can see the file in the right side. You can also see, on the left side, that it is in My Documents\Downloads.

Now that the Unlock Key can be seen on the left, it is necessary to locate the folder containing the Wellness Profile program on the right side of Windows Explorer.
If the program was loaded in the default location it is is C:\Program Files\Wellness Profile 7.1.2.0.
So, click on the small Plus sign to the left Local Disk (C:)

With the C drive expanded click on the small Plus sign to the left of Program Files.

Then with Program Files expanded on the left, scroll down until you can see the folder Wellness Profile 7.1.2.0.
DO NOT click on the folder or the Plus sign.

The next step is to right click and drag the Unlock Key <CoSetB.dat> over to the left side and on top of the Wellness Profile 7.1.2.0 folder. Once the Wellness Profile 7.1.2.0 folder is highlighted, release the right mouse button.

This will probably bring up a window asking if you want to relpace the existing file.
You do want to replace it, so click Yes.

You are done. The program should be fully functional now.

Remember:
You still have to register the program to stop the countdown.  This will be more meaningful once you have run the program with the Unlock Key properly installed.
