 Last Name field
This field is mandatory.
Enter one last name ONLY.
Doing this allows Tech. Support to find your record much easier than if the Last Name field is full of other data.
If the program is owned by persons with differing last names, adjust the First Name field to get the Hailing field to appear as desired.
Example 1:
John Doe and Jane Smith are business partners, but do not share the same last name.
John and Jane must decide who is primary.
That persons last name should be entered in the Last Name field.
Let's say it is John.
The Last Name field should contain "Doe" only (without the quotations).
The First Name field should contain "Jane Smith and John" (again without the quotations).
The Hailing field will then show Jane Smith and John Doe.
Example 2:
Dr. Jonas Salk and a lawyer, F. Lee Bailey, are business partners.
They must decide who is primary.
That persons last name should be entered in the Last Name field.
Let's say it is F. Lee Bailey.
The Last Name field should contain "Bailey" only (without the quotations).
The First Name field should contain "Jonas Salk and F. Lee" (again without the quotations).
The Salutation field could contain Dr.
The Suffix files could contain Esq.
The Hailing field will then show Dr. Jonas Salk and F. Lee Bailey, Esq. The comma after Bailey is automatic.
Example 3:
George Foreman III and Sugar Ray Robinson are business partners.
Let's say they decide George Foreman is to be primary.
The Last Name field should contain "Foreman" only (without the quotations).
The First Name field should contain "Sugar Ray Robinson and George" (again without the quotations).
The Suffix field should contain III.
The Hailing field will then show Sugar Ray Robinson and George Foreman, III.
OR
Let's say they decide Sugar Ray is to be primary.
The Last Name field should contain "Robinson" only (without the quotations).
The First Name field should contain "George Foreman, III and Sugar Ray" (again without the quotations).
The Suffix field should be blank.
